Happy birthday
red_sykora!
My back has been killing me the last couple of days- I think I slept on it wrong.
Thanks to Hulu, have gotten all caught up on The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad. Working my way through season 4 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
I think I forgot to mention that my ipod! naturally lost most of my music when I plugged it in to the new computer with iTunes. I looked through all of the iTunes documentation, but there was nothing I could do unless I'd planned ahead before the previous computer crashed. Disappointing, but that's the way it goes. Some of it I can't replace now, which is sad. iTunes does allow free re-downloading of previously-purchased songs*, though Amazon.com does not.
Frankly, with recent loss of job, computer, and place to live (two of which have been so far replaced) in the space of a month, I'm feeling alternately at sea and optimistic. There's a sense of starting fresh, but also the anxiety that comes with that.
Just came in from Ore, or Or director:
All kinds of equity crap. I really apologize; I should have been more on top of this; I assumed since Alan recommended equity actors to me that it would be alright to cast equity. I'm waiting to hear from Sacha's AEA rep and then Alan and I will decide what to do.
I'll keep you posted. Again I'm sorry about this.
Heading over to Tony's later today. Trying to decide if I should just go back to bed till then or go get coffee and be productive.
* though not
Girlyman's "Joyful Sign", since the iTunes files have been upgraded- I can download the album again for $3. I do still have my 5 top-rated songs from the album, since the ipod! transferred my purchased songs over, and they were on the ipod! at the time in my "top-rated" playlist. Don't know if it's worth it to re-download the rest of the album, frankly.
