Yay! LJ is back up after its scheduled maintenance! Finally!
Did force me to stop goofing off and write my Summer and Smoke review, so that's good. Of course, the show doesn't open till the 22nd, so I'm early anyway.
Boo, my temp job at Media Conglomerate is ending on the 26th! Bad timing! I do come in early for those last 3 days, but still. Booo. They did give me some advance notice, so I can clean up my crap, but still. Boo.
Temp company looking for something new for me already. Hopefully something that pays better than this.
Yay, mom sent me some new clothes that she found on sale! I'm pretty!
Last of the Media Conglomerate work swag: The Thief of Always, Gates of Eden and the complete volume of Zot!.
Great ipod! segue this morning- "Who's Got Extra Love" from Zanna, Don't! into "The Goldfarb Variations" from The Magic Show. I love big group counterpoint numbers.
Reading of The Starship Astrov last night went great- all the performers rocked. Very pleased with the script, but needs a little work here and there. Gonna send Resonance Ensemble a copy once I fix it up. Perhaps they'll prefer it to The Thyme of the Season, which was not a rewriting but a sequel. This isn't so much a rewriting either (though it shares a lot of characters in common with Uncle Vanya), but it's about as much of one as The Coffee Trees was of The Cherry Orchard.
Forgot to mention the mice in our building finally found their way into the apartment the other night. Elizabeth freaked out, of course, and put traps all over. So far only been seen in the kitchen and in her bedroom (she eats in there).
Looking forward to new apartment- just talked to Amanda, my soon-to-be roommate, and she's going to movie into Dana's room with all of Dana's old furniture, so I'll have more space and a closet! Woot!
Susan's fundrasier tonight! She said she'd give me ½ off my ticket, since I helped so much at the last fundraiser.
Going to carasol's for Thanksgiving. That should be fun.
