Man, long day. Spent most of it reformatting Dik and Jayne are Not the Same, for submission to that guy from Virignia.
Also bought a modem on my lunch break, so I can have l'internet at home. Spending the night at home and relaxing.
Tomorrow trying for In the Heights lottery tickets, for the matinée, if anyone wants to come along.
Then going to review Summer Shorts B (Speaking of which,
my A review is up).
Jason from Camino Real is coming along.
If I have time between (or if I don't get into ITH), I'm going to drop by the Bubby's Shadow karaoke cast party. It's somewhere in Koreatown.
Then Chris's birthday party, if I'm not dead.
The next Small Pond Producer Sprint is in 2 weeks. I'm very tempted to ask Mike if I can be one of the producers. Start rehearsals on the 25th, then show goes up 30th-31st. Writing a new one-act, The First to Fall Asleep, that may be just the thing. If I can finish it tonight, maybe.
Last night was the new reading of Cref's Much Ado. My friends are fantastic actors. It was pretty awesome. Elana, Bishop, Kevin Brofsky, and Patricia's hot brother came to watch. Bishop and I were both tongue-tied talking to Patricia's hot brother- Elana thought it was hilarious.
Told Anthony I'd e-mail him names of good temp companies- he's actually with the one that is Dead to Me, and they're dicking him around like they were dicking me around.
