Over at Cap'n Wacky:
Unfortunate Super-Hero Costumes [title of show] was great, of course. They got a standing ovation for at least a minute, if not longer, after "9 People's Favorite Thing"... which isn't the end of the play. They just stood, frozen, waiting to say their final lines.
Hunter and Jeff gave little speeches after the curtain call, and brought Michael Berresse up onstage with them (for the first time in public).
Tons of celebrities- Lin-Manuel Miranda (a couple people were like, "Who's playing Usnavi? Is that allowed?"), Betty Buckley (who is referred to as a "hot box of crazy" in the show), some puppets from Avenue Q (dressed in formal wear), John Cameron Mitchell, Marian Seldes, etc...
Waited with Adam Shapiro (who, btw, cried copiously all through "A Way Back to Then") and two of his friends (to whom he did not introduce me) outside the stage door for about a half an hour before the cast finally came out, dressed to the nines; everyone signed programs then got in a limo to be whisked away to their cast party. Missed getting my program signed by Hunter, since I was busy flirting with La Berresse; man is hot. Susan looked awesome in a purple and gold gown.
Show started at 7, so I was home elevenish.
Going to see Andrew's show, Bubby's Shadow, in the MITF tonight, then probably after-party for that.
