Read Hate Myself in the Morning at playwriting group last night. Despite my apprehension, it was well-received, though I did get a lot of feedback from Elana and James, most of which I found valid. James also brought in another scene from his
Rossetti piece he's been working on.
Gonna rewrite some bits of Hate Myself today, then send it in to
Turtle Shell Productions for their "One Acts of the 21st Century".
The submission instructions state "Please add a cover letter that gives Turtle Shell Productions permission to produce your plays if chosen and sign at the bottom." I wrote in the letter that I gave them permission for this series of one-acts. I don't want them just doing my play all over the place.
I think I'll just drop it off there; save myself the stamp.
Went to Marie's after group and had a few drinks while I waited for Tony to get out of recording the In The Heights cast album (which he said went super-smoothly). Jim Allen seemed a little out of it. "straight" Alex was there, so we did tons of obscure stuff.
Then Tony and I met up around Midnight and I crashed at his place. Had some Easter leftovers- Peter made a ham as well! Tony gave me
World War Z to read. I'll start it after I finish
Dandy in the Underworld.
Left my phone at Tony's place. D'oh! He's gonna come drop it off this afternoon.
Have no idea where my Much Ado script went. I'll just have to print out a new copy today before the show.
For anyone who's coming to see it tonight, I hope you enjoy me being a
large ham. Actually, "I'm not a ham, you can cure a ham!"
My
Threadless shirts have shipped! Wooo!
I see
darksheik posted some Easter pictures on Flickr:
I know what's going on my Facebook page.
