You're all up in my parachute and you don't even know what color it is.

Ugh. Was just on the subway for an hour and a half this morning. "sick passenger". Of course the week I have to be at Media Conglomerate early. I did get to listen to the entire ATW Norbert Leo Butz podcast, but that's small comfort.

Review of the Horovitz one-acts.

I'm a runner-up in Overheard in New York's caption contest this week.

So much stuff to do this week. Playwrighting group tonight. Probably bringing Hate Myself in the Morning, unless I write something new today.
Reading of Much Ado on Tuesday night.
TRU audition weekend Saturday and Sunday. Ukulele Cabaret Saturday Night (I think I'm playing, but haven't seen the schedule yet). Sunday I'm going to see The Vagina Monologues in Jersey (Starring Christine and Katherine- and now that I look, Lillian, Barbara, and Iloire, and a few other people I know from Art House).
I would also like to go see Girlyman at Joe's Pub on Sunday night, but I don't know for sure if that'll happen- I might not be able to make it back into the city by 7pm.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights I plan to do nothing but stay home and unpack boxes. Francy is getting antsy with all the boxes around.

Easter Day was fun with the family. We colored eggs in the morning, then we cooked our food (I had my chopping duties taken from me, since I was too slow). Had an awesome dinner- Ham, black beans & rice, salad. Cream puffs for dessert. The kids stayed in the other room, didn't want to sit at the table with the grownups.
Aunt Linda had us play one of her "what color is your parachute" games where we all got a bag of M&Ms, picked one then had to tell a story about something (what it was depended on the color we'd chosen). I tried to get people interested in Apples to Apples, but everyone was ready to leave by that time.
Mom and Linda have sold their house and they're going to be moving soon, so they're getting rid of a bunch of stuff. I ended up with a metric buttload of DVDs, as well as some pots (I have lots of pans, but few pots). They were also cleaning out the liquor cabinet, but I couldn't fit more heavy stuff in my bag. Rebecca and I took the rest of the quiches home. I got both the Carbonara ones. Mmmmm.
Oh, and mom did get me and alexlady clothes at that store that was going out of business. I have new corduroy pants I'm wearing today(vrrrp vrrrp vrrrp)!
Just recounting the plot of the weekend doesn't express how nice it is to be with the family.

On the ride home we were very silly and alexlady was talking about this drag queen named "Peppermint Gummibear", but she said "Peppermint Jellybean" at first, and I misheard as "Government Jellybean", and that's how I got the name of my new album, Carson.
