Is Man a Myth?

Happy Birthday wonderpanther!

Enzyte is not only annoying, but also a lie.

Oh man, Narnia. Maybe I'm just in a weakened state from being sick, but The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe had me close to tears through most of the film. I don't usually go to movies in theaters because I hate people (that's actually changed in the last few months, since Tony and Peter LOVE to go to movies and often drag me along); and then I have a dislike for marketing, since anything that's over-advertised makes me want to not see it... long story short I didn't see it till now.
It was brilliant. So well done. The Narnia books are among the first I can remember - I got the collection for Christmas one year. And to see little details in the movie like a book on Mr. Tumnus' shelves called Is Man a Myth?- they really did it well.
Kid actors were amazing. Tilda Swinton can do no wrong, though I didn't care for her hair stylings after the first scene. James McAvoy was great as Mr. Tumnus. It was everything I could have hoped.

I'll never get used to Fenris Ulf being named Maugrim.

If they get around to making the third book, Reepicheep is gonna make me bawl my eyes out.

Thought the opening with the London air-raids was really powerful and important. Very strange, just seeing London bombed in Mrs. Henderson Presents, and then again in this. To think all of that was going on at the same time (like darksheik thought with Sweeney Todd and A Christmas Carol)
