In love with my joy delirious

Last night's show was great- the crowd was not as OMG LAUGH AT EVERYTHING as the previous nights, but they were awesome anyway. neoscribe, targemq8, alexlady's Josh, and Ted, Dolan, and Jason from Ukulele Cabaret were all there. It was a good show.

Booth's stepfather is in the hospital; he warned me that it's probably nothing, but just in case... That's worrisome.

Went out to Marie's Crisis with Tony and targemq8 and somehow ended up closing the place out.
Jim Allen's feeling much better- apparently he had a cyst removed that had been causing the illness. Crazy.

targemq8 regaled me and Tony with critical stories of her amorous escapades, and regaled the bar with some lovely singing. Tony was jaw-dropped at how great she was. I, of course, had seen her cabaret show, so I already knew she was awesome.
She was reading this, which I have now added to my Amazon Wishlist.

It was Louis' birthday. I sang "Our Private World" (Cute Redheaded Joe was thrilled- he just lit a production of On the 20th Century recently and when they got to that song he was all, "Hey, I know that one!" because I sing it all the time), but then Louis was disappointed because he was hoping I'd do "Jacky" for his birthday, so I did that, too.

Tony sang "Out There", which ended up not being a solo because there were a bunch of Disney Queens in the house. Then he did "What Good is Love". Jim Allen did a fine job sight-reading, but he dropped out most of the atonal stuff in the piano part. Still good. He was amused that the direction on the music is "Sondheimy Ballad".

Tony was worried about me getting home with my giant bag o' props, so put me in a cab and pressed money into my hand for it. He's such a sweetie.

Reviewing Phallusy tonight, and darksheik is coming along! Wooo!

Leaving for work now. Oy.
