I apparently have a package from UPS that they attempted to deliver yesterday (of course, I was home, but our buzzer doesn't work). I'm not expecting anything- I wonder what it is!
I hope this will not disrupt my plans for today, but I fear that it shall.

It snowed last night! It's almost gone now.

Yesterday I thought I'd be clever and I left the house at a time which I estimated would get me to pick up my check without much tedious waiting time before the evening began hopping. But I arrived too late to get my check- the place was closed. Poo.
So I went to Marie's for a bit. Well, I intended it would be a bit, but it turned out to be all of Jim Allen's shift.
DH was there- haven't seen him since Kit's party.
Jim and I did TONS of Allen Sherman, including most of "Shticks Of One And Half A Dozen Of The Other"
somecamerunning showed up, so that was a plus.

Randy and Jason were there very briefly. I was wearing my JGay and Silent Bob shirt. Jason saw it and said, "Wow. Duncan, you never cease to amaze me". Odd. Need to make sure they've been invited to the housewarming party. I think I invited Randy, but I always screw up e-vites somehow.

And, taken from literaryquotes:
The art of not reading is a very important one. It consists in not taking an interest in whatever may be engaging the attention of the general public at any particular time. When some political or ecclesiastical pamphlet, or novel, or poem, is making a great commotion, you should remember that he who writes for fools always finds a large public. A precondition for reading good books is not reading bad ones: for life is short.
