My mom's theatre company in Moorestown has their website up and running:
The Old Dog Theater Company. The picture on the front page is Mom as Frosine in a college production of Molière's The Miser.
Went over to David's yesterday to pick up the chairs from my show, so we could have more places to sit for
neoscribe's birthday party. David said
Intellectuals got
one great review and some others that were disappointing (including
the Times). He said they've been playing to very small houses lately. I'm gonna see if I can get in to see it again before it closes.
neoscribe's party was nice- not a huge blowout like some others we've had, but fun. At the last minute, a couple of people were sick, so didn't come.
My so-good-you-could-wash-your-face-in-it bean dip was awesome. I was very pleased that it was good after I went to all that trouble. It's mainly black beans and a variety of peppers (some spicy and some not), blended and chopped and mixed. I got the recipe from the Marilu Henner book.
neoscribe and Sami got a bunch of Hallowe'en decorations, which were effectively thpooky. He put his glowing Bates Motel sign in the bathroom- along with a flickering-candle-bulb in the ceiling, that was the only light in there.
I got very sleepy early on, around 1:30, and just went to bed. I realized it wasn't really my party, so I was free to do so.
darksheik and
alexlady and Katie all spent the night. The cats were mainly in my room, and I couldn't get to sleep because of them, so I kicked them out, and then Ebony started meowing to be let back in outside my door and either Don or Alex (who were sleeping in Mickey's bed), let them back in. So, not a lot of sleep.
