My Big Fat Greek Nelson

I went to see Fragile Deliveries. The show was okay; Nelson was good, but I think he played the role a bit too smart. He played a drug dealer who falls in love with the pharmacy chick who he's intending to steal drugs from. Some funny parts in the show. On the whole; not bad.

Afterward, I went outside to wait for Nelson and saw Myles! Apparently they are still together. They had planned to go see a movie, and asked if I wanted to come along. I did.

We stopped at Burritoville, but I only had water, as I'd already filled up on an "Elvis"* from Peanut Butter and Co. We chatted a bit about my play. Nelson was tiptoeing around asking me for a part, and I told him I'd be glad to have him audition. I was a little wary, because I think he'd be great as Richard, but it has the Gay kissing in it. I pointed that out to him, and he said that wouldn't be a problem; he'd done it before.
It turns out he and Myles are going to a wedding the first week of rehearsals, so he couldn't really do the show; but he told me to keep him in mind in case I needed a last-minute replacement. So now I have an understudy.
It's so great doing a show- everyone wants to help.

When we got to East Village Cinemas, our choices were Signs, or My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I wanted to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding, as everyone I know has recommended it to me, and, of course, it has my boyfriend Joey Fatone in a small role.**

The movie was great. So funny. I love this Mandylor brother (Louis) so much more than Costas. John Corbett is cute. My man Joey was hot.

*a grilled peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich. Mmmmm.

** and, to tie things up, Nelson went to High School with Joey Fatone. Yes, that's right- 2 degrees of separation. Joey's apparently coming to Nelson's magic show next month. I am so there.
