Theo: Hey, Arvedui? I'm a guy

.>'>

Arvedui: Oh? *raises an eyebrow* Are we playing another of your games?

Theo: nope.

Arvedui: *frowns* You seem female, and you're even pregnant.

Theo: curse.

Arvedui: *raises that eyebrow higher* Curse? That's new.

Theo: actually, it's sort of two years old...

Arvedui: *frowns again* You're not really serious... Are you? *suspicious*

Theo: completely serious.

Arvedui: *blinks* .... *pauses* Do you mean to tell me Firiel is currently in the body of a man? *speaks very, very slowly with an angry edge to it*

Theo: well, yes. One that's stuck as a girl but yes.

Arvedui: !!!!!! *ANGRY, but in a quiet way* I. See.

Theo: she seems to be doing better with it than I did. I didn't realize I could be stabbed like that before o.o

Arvedui: *opens his mouth to say something but the last bit makes him halt abruptly* STABBED? O_O

Theo: yes. She got my body stabbed.

Arvedui: O_O I'd better go see her! *turns and runs Firi's-room-wards*

Theo: *sighs* *follows* she isn't in there. I already checked.

Arvedui: O.O Then where is she?! *WORRIES*

Theo: off with her brother, I assume.

Arvedui: Oh. *relaxes a bit, though still worried*

Theo: s'all good. I'm apparently indestructible

Arvedui: But you still hurt. *worries*

Theo: well, not a lot...especially compared to this body

Arvedui: Still. It's new to her. >.>

Theo: we've spoken over it.

Arvedui: Have you?

Theo: yes. Firiel was complaining about it being numb all over. I am glad I didn't tell her the trick to feeling things properly >.>

Arvedui: Good. So am I. *relaxes further*

Theo: see? it is all good. I've taken falls out windows without losing a step too. She'll be fine

Arvedui: *hesitant nod* If you say so.

Theo: and I'm done my confessions of the day

Arvedui: ...........You're really a man? *gulps, tries really hard not to faint* What's your true name then?

Theoden: Theoden. My sister has been very forgiving about all this.

Arvedui: >.< .............. *does NOT faint, dammit*

Theo: I'm sort of annoyed I didn't really have to change much of my history or personality for this...

Arvedui: >.< *doesn't say anything*

Theo: and Artamir knows. *fidget*

Arvedui: >.< *still quiet, trying to digest this without regressing into unconsciousness*

Theo: *waits patiently*

Arvedui: *after a long pause, he clears his throat* Er... I don't really know what to say, my lad-lord. >.>

Theo: just stick with lady. Lord makes me twitch. >.>

Arvedui: As you wish >.> *uncomfortable*

Theo: and you may start repressing it all as soon as possible.

Arvedui: *blanches, pauses, sighs, and looks away*

Theo: since that's what I think Artamir did. >.>

Arvedui: *nods absent-mindedly, still looking away*

Theo: mmmph

Arvedui: *looks down at the floor and doesn't say anything*

Theo: I'd like to point out that your little reaction the first time you figured it out is sort of the reason I kept quiet

Arvedui: *nods* *softly* I learned a lot since then.

Theo: yay for endearing myself

Arvedui: *still looking down, his face a mask devoid of emotion*

Theo: and it isn't like I'm going to change back anytime soon. As long as I'm unhappy I'm stuck

Arvedui: *looks up a bit* You're unhappy?

Theo: as a rule

Arvedui: *slight frown* Oh.

Theo: *shrug*

Arvedui: You didn't seem unhappy... *trails off and returns to staring down at the floor*

Theo: I have some sort of restraint.

Arvedui: *very softly* I see. *still looking down*

Theo: what's wrong?

Arvedui: *tries for a nonchalant shrug, fails* Nothing that should trouble you. >.>

Theo: it's probably my fault. Tell.

Arvedui: *sighs, looks up* I am somewhat... disappointed.

Theo: if you were trapped as a woman, how many people would you tell?

Arvedui: *waves a hand in a dismissive fashion* Not that, the other part.

Theo: which part? >.>

Arvedui: The part about you being unhappy. >.>

Theo: ah. It isn't that much of a problem. >.> getting rather used to it

Arvedui: *sighs, doesn't say anything in reply*

Theo: it isn't. I'm really quite good about it

Arvedui: *nods a small nod and looks away again*

Theo: of course, that's beginning to make me feel like I carry the plague...

Arvedui: *frowns* What?

Theo: you keep refusing to look at me >.>

Arvedui: *sighs* It is because I feel like I've... failed. >.>

Theo: failed?

Arvedui: *nods* *softly* As a friend.

Theo: *pats* I'm unhelpable. It's fine. Really.

Arvedui: *sighs* It just feels... wrong.

Theo: why wrong? >.>

Arvedui: Because I thought you liked my company... You seemed to smile mostly genuine smiles >.>

Theo: I do like your company. Otherwise I'd just spend my time with Firi or Rogue

Arvedui: Yet you never felt happy.

Theo: well, not completely.

Arvedui: *sighs*

Theo: >.> it isn't your fault

*sighs*

I think I'm starting to understand this place.

I don't like it.
