So, Scott's post about song lyrics reminded me of something I have been meaning to remember to do every time I'm at school and online: look up song lyrics. So, I waste a lot of time looking at songs, when I notice a particular favorite band of mine that wasn't there before (they're more obscure). I look at a couple of the songs and notice one of them which is compLETEly way off of what I believed the lyrics to be. I mean, I probably could never know for sure, but mine make a whole hell lotta more sense than what was there. (See beneath link for my edited version.) So that bugged me. But what REALLY got my goat is that when I did a search for that song on OTHER lyrics websites, they all had the same stupid ones! It makes me mad because it just shows that people aren't even listening to the songs and are simply copy/pasting. What a way to get more people to view your website. Maybe I should make a website for lyrics and announce that it is the best website for lyrics in the world, and just copy them from everyone else, and cram my website chock full of advertisements that no one will notice how much of a ripoff I am, and I will get tons of money for doing nothing! Yay capitalism!
