Hate the car, love the commercial.

I just saw a commercial for the civic. I hate civics, but I am now tempted to go buy one. The visuals were killer, hatching butterfly, snake shedding skin, very good stuff. But that doesn't really mean shit to me. I only looked at the TV because I heard The Postal Service. They picked "We Will Become Silhouettes" as the music for the commercial. It makes me laugh because the song is about what happens when your hometown gets nuked. I mean sure the commercial is about the rebirth of the all-new civic, but the song is about hiding in a bunker until the end of the world, or ending up as a charcoal outline on a building.

In other news, I spent 24 hours yesterday answering phones and waiting on everyone who outranks me. CQ is retarded. I managed to watch about 6 hours of Buffy though, so I guess it wasn't a complete waste of my time. Hold on, yes, it was. The worst part is I'm supposed to spend today recovering from my ordeal, but that's just not to be. I slept for about 5 hours before my roommate got back and woke my ass up. And tomorrow I have to get up at 3 am. Of course I then can go back to bed from about 4 to 8. The troop is doing a 12-mile road march, but I have a busted knee, so I don't have to do shit. Yay for occasional blinding pain. Anyway I was planning on coming to the East Coast, (read HOME) for Columbus Day weekend, but my Plt. Sgt. shot that down, and I'm not allowed to go on pass until thanksgiving, but I will be home for that. And about 2 weeks for Christmas.
