I'm sure I got the specific Dworkin wrong, but the one who used to like to say to political thinkers: "You're right, but you got there via faulty reasoning. Here's how you're really right."

The point everyone should be belaboring is that he - along with, I would bet, a bunch of other people - thinks that a woman can't get pregnant as the result of rape. Really, shouldn't "complete fucking idiot" trump "knuckle-dragging throwback" in the hierarchy of Things Not to Be?
So why is everyone working the "throwback" angle?
