well, i had three points to talk to the DR about -
my left wrist, my right wrist and my right elbow.
the right elbow is a mild case of Lateral Epicondylitis (tennis elbow), the left and right wrist is most likely a very mild carpal tunnel syndrome. She's got me in a better wrist brace (for the right hand) and taking ibuprofen every 4-6 hours even if i don't feel i need it for a week - after the week, if it's still bothering me, i'm supposed to call her back and we'll discuss some physical therapy to head this off at the pass.
both she and I are pretty much convinced it's work related, and as that isn't going to change byt he end of the year, we agree physical therapy is a good choice.
i like her.
she also told me i have "awesome blood pressure" (112/60). I'm a little concerned about taking so much ibuprofen when i really try not to take anything at all (when i need to take something i want it to work!), but she said as it will be for a short period of time, i shouldn't worry too much - just keep an eye out for stomach issues - and if that happens, i should take prilosec for the duration of the week.
pain,
