oh boy what a day!
friday night was cwoods74's husband's surprise party. it went remarkably well - without a hitch, in fact. she did a fantastic job. tons of friends and family. all in all a great time. (i'll send you an email with the pics in a bit, chris.). both lutetia8 and i were way too tired though - one of the fun parts was gettin on korama for nursin his beer... (okay, he wasn't really, but i was ahead of him, so i took that liberty...) it was very cool for all us kids to hang out, even if chris was taken away for most of the evening for hostess duties.
stayed up WAY too late last night, but for good reason.
which meant, of course, i slept in this morning. AND since i didn't take anything for the miserable sinusitis i have right now, i woke up and my head was 6 feet thicker than i'm used to (spare me the jokes, kids). so i crawled back into bed after about an hour. missed a couple of phone calls (sorry ddneyal hope you got my text later...) and some online messages (*pout*) but got caught up later on. slept til about 3ish - cleaned the room, ate some dinner, watched some tivo.
yeah, my thrilling life *laughs*
right now it's classical music and good conversation - bed isn't too far off.
(so as i generally do in my longer posts, i went looking for the CD i'm listening to right now to link to it with the 'classical music' in that last sentence. noone has the image of this cd anywhere. i know, i looked ALL over the internet. yep, everywhere. so i took a pic of it myself as i LOVE the cover. wish i knew what the title was, who the painter was, or if it was even an actual piece of art. so anyways, here it is (even if slightly out of focus, but it's late, and i don't really care:))
sunday, if i feel better in the am, i want to go after that cache that's been looming over me - then get back in time to relax, pull the 30 or so ticks off of me that i'm sure i will pick up along the way, shower and get ready to watch the game.
the village of west barnstable is having their tree lighting ceremony tomorrow night round 5:30 i think - i may go down to take some pics - see what kind of a turnout we get. *shrug* not sure. all depends what i feel like doing. lutetia8 and korama i doubt i'm heading up that way tomorrow - since i'm sick, i may just write the weekend off -
you know what, i think i'm done for the night, kids. sleep well, i know i'm going to. (i better or i'm gonna kick the sandman's ass.)
