and now for the update.
got up around 5:30 or so and didn't doo much other than jump online and futz around. woke drlucky up at 6:30, negotiated the new wake up time of 8:30 and then woke him up again at 8:00 cause i was bored and wanted to get movin =)
we went out, snagged three caches (went after 4 all day, but one, we think, is gone.) and then headed to tattoo charlies. got the ink done and now i'm back home uploading pics and enjoying the slight flashes of heat just above my ankle as the ink settles in at its' new home.
for the rest of the day, i've got a project i'll be workin on, and then it's off to meet up with 1_woman_army assuming the weather holds its' ground or gets better. we'll see.
OH!!!! i almost forget the best info i got ALL day!
i got a little txt msg from S. (at bella) that simply read "K is about to be canned". i damn near drove off the road at that point! called him back at the restaurant immediately, made sure it was safe to talk and then got the scoop. all i can say is that if this actually goes through, i'll be contacting the managing partner to see about a full time salaried kitchen managers job. maybe i'll let bella and the hyatt duke it out for who gets me.
then again, K has to be fired, first. then we'll see. (and celebrate)
