Who: Ichijouji Ken, Ichijouji Osamu, Akiyama Ryo When: March 13th morning/early afternoon Where: Digital World Summary: Worried about possible re-death of Osamu, Ken decides to search for him. ( Digi-port Open! )
In contrast to the cracked concretes of the real world, or muddy flooded planes, Ken was glad to observe no sign of the natural disaster in the Digital-world.
From his experience, he recalls, natural unusual phenomenon are generally related to major disturbance in the Digital world, but instead it felt peaceful.
In fact, too peaceful. All Ken was hearing besides the fluttering of his partner's wings, and the rustling of the forest, was deceiving friendliness of the quiet. Tightening the grip on his hood Ken sighed.
Breaking the silence Stingmon called his companion in his deep manly voice. "Ken-chan...Over this forest is a village of Tsunomon. Perhaps we should stop by and get a drink."
Sensing concern in his partner's voice Ken shook his head, nodded.
The pair landed gracefully beside a tree, and Stingmon devolved back to Wormmon. "You must be tired..." Picking up his partner, Youth cracked a weak smile, biting back a small 'I'm sorry.'
It's been awhile since they've done any real adventuring, and he couldn't help but get reminded of his old attitude of taking Wormmon for granted, seldom he had to travel in the Digital world.
Especially after that one night spent alone.
Remembering this fact, Ken's face darkened. It might have been more than a day since -he- came over to this side, if he was here, and he knew very well how unforgiving it could be.
Then he felt a tug on his jacket and looked down.
"Ken-chan... Could you.... let me down?" Wormmon notified, breaking Ken away from his strengthened grip. "Ah, I'm sorry." Apologising, Ken put his partner down, and flashed a smile.
"Aren’t you tired though? I don't mind carrying you."
Wormmon shook his head. "I know you didn't get any sleep. Let's walk. You know, I'm all feet."
With a nod the pair moved forward to the villiage, and spotted round, red baby digimon.
"Hello." Squatting down, Ken smiled. "Have you seen a man with a face like me?" (OOC:Sorry couldn't pass at this

Wormmon politely bowed, and thanked the Digimon, and Ken too, did the same tentatively with forced, sad smile on his face.
Walking along the uninviting ground that turned dark the moment of mention, navy-trussed youth dragged his feet as suddenly he felt tenfold weary.
"Ken-chan...." Wormmon called worriedly, and they walked in silence for awhile.
The hands like leaves of rainforest plantation blocked Ken's eyes, blurring his vision. The ghost-of-the-past gnawing on his brain, Ken rolled his hand into a fist as something other than the trees blurred his vision.
Then, his vision did a summer sault. Spitting out unpleasant taste of earth, long haired man wiped his face, soiled in mud.
Ten years..... and still....
"Ken chan!!!" As his partner's shrill cry of desparation was heard, Ken looked up into the sky, putting a hand into his pocket.
Inside, was a container of wax he had brought to help with the search. Laying it down to his aching side, Ken swallowed a tear. It wasn't the time for sensitivity, nor self pity.
"Are you okay?" Crawling onto Ken's side, the bug Digimon said with drops of tear in his eyes.
"Look Ken..." Wormmon started, searching for words of comfort.
However, he was stopped with a pat on a head. Ken was shaking his head lightly.
"...Thanks."
In mutual understanding, the Digimon and his partner nodded.
