I'm suddenly so sad. Dunkin Donuts...yeah. Right. Looks like the only one I have down here is on post, 45min south, at the Army PX. O.O;;; JESUS H CHRIST ON A BUSCUIT. Who knew this would be so shittastic? I will visit that one within the next few days to see if they have the pumpkin seasonal flavor.
I went to the DD here in Sanford. On my way into the store I was flirted with by a sketchy black man in an explorer who was trying to get me to talk to him and give him my name. I rushed into the gas station where the DD sign was...
It's a do-it-yourself counter with coffee machine, flavor shots machine, cream machine, a really sketchy "liquid sugar" squirt bottle that anyone could open and put anything else into, and the regular sugar packets.... FUUUCK. Ok... so. I find a cup, put some ice in it from the ice machine...try to put my flavor in it...the lights blink unhappilly on the hazlenut, but I'm trying to choose caramel...but it's blinking hazlenut AND caramel when it's blinking... WTF DISPENSER? It put stuff in my cup on the ice. I think that's what I want...I smell it, and it smells like caramel, but its only a few drops. I have a large coffee. I keep hitting the button to put some more -- I mean, in the store they do a few pumps? I dunno. So I put what looks like enough even though the lights are fucked up. I put the iced coffee in it. I put cream in it. The liquid sugar bottle was sketchy, so I go to the packets. How many? IDK. So I put some in, stir, try. Rinse repeat. It's at this point I realize that there's hazlenut in my coffee.....I hate hazlenut. Too frustrated, I just put more sugar in, and go to the register.
I ask the woman if she'll take my DD card. She's never seen one before, doesn't know what it is. I hand her what's almost the rest of my cash, and walk out. I get back to the house. I drink some of it...it's not what I want.
Conclusion: I need to go on post, where there's an actual DD, 45min south of here, and see if they have the pumpkin that I want. If they don't, all bets are off, and I will begin importing coffee down here. Any tips on brewing your own iced coffee will be taken at this time. FML.
