I haven't posted in... a gazillion days. Lots of days, anyway. I've been pretty busy here... I like Tuscaloosa, though. Teaching 5 classes is a lot, particularly when 4 of them are on the same day. That's pretty tough. It wouldn't be so bad if they were back-to-back, but as it is, they're not close enough together, and not far enough apart for me to have time to leave campus in-between classes. So on Tuesday/Thursday, I'm there from about 7:00-7:30a.m. until about 6:30p.m. BUGGAR!
Amanda and I went grocery shopping today (she's one of my lil' gay neighbors), and I can pretty much vouch for the fact that you should never shop for groceries at K-Mart, or Big K, or whatever the freak it is. Nugnngh.
Did I mention that Bob is in AA, now? He needs to be in all of those letters of the alphabet, but they won't keep him in rehab or whatnot, b/c he isn't technically still in detox (although I think that's bullshit) and his insurance won't pay for any more in-patient treatment. Also BS. What started this whole thing was that Ray (my brother) told him to either go to rehab or that he was going to press criminal charges against him. Yeah. That would be because he (Bob) tried to shoot my brother in the face a few weeks ago. Oh yeah. Waving a loaded gun in his face. With my little neice and nephew there. Right. I won't be staying there when I go back to visit Louisiana, that's for damn sure. And I'm freaking glad that mom is staying her ass in Florida. That's all.
