Too sad
Shylo, the best cat ever, has kidney failure and I might have to put him down this week. It is very hard to deal with, since Marshall is at Basic Training for the National Guard, and I am currently almost 10 weeks pregnant, and very hormonal. Shylo has been at the Vet receiving IV fluids and medication for 24 hours now. The Doctors don't see any improvement since he has been there. :( :( :(
Shylo is the first cat(baby, really) Marshall and I ever had together. He is the best cat that has ever graced me with his love. He always knew when you are sick, he would be by your side until you felt better. He always curls up next to you when you are hanging on the couch or going to sleep on the bed. He loves his Tybalt, our other sweet kitty. They would always spoon each other, groom each other, and play fight. His first toy was "Pooky" the pajama wearing teddy bear like Garfield has in the comic strip. One of his favorite toys is the catnip squirrel we got Tybalt and Shylo in our Minneapolis apartment. He loves hanging out on the porch, catching some sun rays. One of his favorite sleeping places is the red ottoman with his "taco" and blankie. He has always been extremely photogenic. I have many great photos of Shylo. I hope to get him on video with Tybalt, or just of him before he passes.
I don't know what Tybalt, Marshall, and I will do with out him. If he does pass away, may his beautiful green eyes watch over us, and may he visit us spiritually. I will have him cremated and keep his ashes forever. I will also get his paw prints on paper before he passes so I can get them tattooed on me. I just love his little "bunny feet."
Get better Shylo, or pass quickly and painlessly. Just know you family loves you so much, and you have touched the lives of many with your snugly sweet self. <3
