So I have about 7 pages of my paper done. It's about 9 PM, it's somewhat due tomorrow morning.
My 8-10 sources graduated to around 16 sources, which I'm happy about because one girl in the class mentioned she has around 50 sources, so I'm hoping my 16 is going to be enough... probably not. I'd have at least another 10 more if I could get my hands on the articles, but alas, they cost $30 a piece. Yes, $30.
So I'm finding a lot of this natural killer cell-mediated anti-tumor cytotoxicity stuff rather interesting. Basically, natural killer cells are cells of the immune system and they utilize systematic methods to induce apoptosis (cell killing) in tumor cells. Hell, just the name "natural killer" sounds badass. I'm also finding that alot of the research into the nitty-gritty of these mechanisms is relatively new and there is alot left to be answered. Possible senior thesis material? Maybe, although it might be a bit too ambitious for an undergraduate to do in a year. Doesn't hurt to try though, right?
So since I despise routine, the fact that I live in this house with nothing to do but sit at my computer and browse around the internet as well as isolated from people I want to interact with, I come to a realization that I am extremely bored. I go to school, I go home, and sometimes I study (really, I don't study THAT much...). In my free time I just sit at my computer browsing forums, downloading anime, reading manga, watching TV with the family sometimes, and that's about it. Occassionally I'll go out, but oftentimes I have no companions with me, and I'm there shopping by myself and whatnot. Yeah, it's pretty sad. Needless to say, I absolutely cannot wait to move into the apartment. Even though I'm still going to go through the same routine of going to classes and then coming home and having to study, just a change of scenery and social life is going to be a big refreshment for me.
And there's also one more month of classes, if I recall correctly. Then finals. Ick. Can we have warm weather now, plz?
Well, time to finish this paper up.
