Halloween?
Halloween's coming up. I'd like to plan a party without conflicting with other parties. Super Dave has mentioned having his party the weekend before Halloween. I can only assume this means Saturday (Oct 27). So I can either host the party that Friday (Oct 26) or wait until the following weekend for Saturday (Nov 3) like we did last year. While there is an amount of lameness in hosting the party after Halloween, and I don't want to create Halloween party burn out. One does get the benefit of all the post Halloween sales. I'd like to know the opinions of my potential guests. What do you guys think?
Lindsey was feeling rather ill in the stomach on Friday night. At around 3AM I borrowed Weston's car and took her to the ER. We spent a very long seven hours in the hospital. They kept us waiting for a couple hours while Lindsey sat there squirming in pain with stomach cramps. Then we spent the next very uncomfortable five hours in a room, drifting in and out of sleep while the doctor's visited occasionally and the IV slowly dripped water back into her dehydrated body. Turns out she had food poisoning. She's still feeling very sore for her stomach and all the injections they shot in her arms, but she is going to be okay. I'm just glad I could be there to help her get though it.
School goes okay. I've managed to fall behind a little and am now racing to catch up. That's what I get for going out of town for a weekend. I joined my parents and sister at a beach front cabin in Michigan. It was beautiful, relaxing, and really good time. Everything I could want from a vacation. I should have been more responsible and known it was going to take me more than two days to do my homework. I shouldn't have gone. I'll just have to bust ass and catch up.
I'm debating over which camcorder to buy. A $500 Sony SR 5 or a $1,100 Sony FX 7. They're both HD, one is bigger with lots more options.
