Charlie arrived on the Island, and was given a warm welcome by Kara Thrace and her daughter Calliope, Pamela Barnes, Castiel, Lily and Emmy Strombeck, Aly Homewood, and Helen. Later that same day, he found his old partner Dani Reese, to the immense relief (and joy) of both of them.
Upon visiting the clinic in order to acquire sunscreen, he met Dr. Carolyn Lam and learned a trick or two about origami, following which he took Catalina out to the beach and came across the lonely tourist who, he discovered, had met him before.
He also managed to meet Sam Vimes, and get a position on the IPD alongside his old-new-always partner, Dani Reese.
