back in kegworth after an incredible week-end

i spent that past weekend in staithes, a beautiful little fishing village in yorkshire.
i got to see the moores as we drove through - the heather was a rich purple color and it was so lovely. i have to say that on sunday night was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. i went for a walk at night along the sea and the moon was very low in the sky and was an eerie orange color. i hiked up a dirt path in the darkness (not the smartest thing i have ever done) to the clifftop above staithes and had a perfect view of the moon, the village, and the surrounding area. and wouldnt you know it - the only sound i could hear was the sound of the waves crashing far below, but to the west there was the most complete and utter silence i have ever heard. it is so rare to have a moment like that. when you think about it, moments of absolute silence are so rare they almost become overwhelming when you encounter them.

anyways, i will be leaving on saturday for morocco on ryanair flight which i am now regretting. ryanair lures you in with cheap flights but damn - they have so many hidden charges its not even a good deal. oh well.
