man - school is rough but i'm loving my language classes. i feel like i have learned so much this semester - and grown so much as a person. i have been working to be more up front with people, say what is on my mind or disagree with them more than i have in the past, because frankly i have spent way too much time trying to be nice to everyone.
someone told me that if everyone likes you then you stand for nothing. i think that i have to agree with that.
anyways,
i also have been having a breakthrough of sorts in my music the past couple weeks and i feel like i am playing better every time i pick up the horn. i am learning/studying so much in terms of technique, time and scale substitutions that sometimes it makes my head hurt.
the interesting thing about music is that the better you get, the more you realize how much you dont know, and how much you will never understand.
