so abdullah tells me i may not be able to go to morocco. if 3 more people don't sign up they are going to shut the program down and none can go!
i really really really want to go to morocco- but if i can't - i may apply for US government scholarships to go study in jordan or in tunisia.
Next weekend is the KU jazz festival. we get to play with peter erskine!!!
ALSO - the jazz combo group i play in is opening for this trio from new york.
we're going to play 3 tunes - one of them might be a tune that i wrote! i'm pretty excited about one of my compositions getting played. i still have to re-work it because i wrote it in d flat - and the piano player bitched at me about that - so i'll move it up or down a half step.
