jazz festival / hip injury due to foreign exchnage student/ FAT-SO
summary of the last week:
-neck injury healed up
-hip injury occurred during freak stretching accident (damn you, japanese foreign exchange student)
-KU jazz 1 played with john abercrombie (legendary jazz guitarist) last night
-saw ingrid jensen and project "O" play friday. they were fucking amazing, especially seamus blake.
-went to "FAT-SO: reality of body images" lecture thursday. it sucked. the entire time girls just talked about their favorite part of their body. luckily they didn't ask me or they would've been thuroughly disgusted. (haha!)
-wrote essay for history the night before it was due. unfortunately, in class the day we turned it in, the professor refuted part of the argument i made in my essay. it was kindof funny, actually. although i don't think i'll be laughing when i get my paper back!!
