hello rusty, it's time to get up

So anyways, the semester is a week or so underway. I've already taken a few more risks this semester than I had up to this point in college. Subsequently I've received some swift kicks to the nuts, figuratively speaking, from which I must now recover. I guess that's not really the point. Taking risks is supposedly better than not. Or is it that both approaches are equally dissatisfactory. I dont quite know. It would all seem different if things had turned out more as I would have liked them to. Hopefully if I continue to put myself "out there," so to speak, something good will happen. Or at least that will be the mantra for now.

Hope is a bitch methinks.
