so ive been working on my final essay comparing the processes by which people read comics and the written word literally all weekend. juggling such a philosophical/linguistical argument has been the hardest thing ive ever had to do. for every page that im remotely satisfied with, ive written three pages that i ended up scraping. i've typed at least fifty pages in the last four days or so on this project. the length of the actual content looks like it will be around twenty-six pages. id say i have anywhere from one to two pages left for the completion of the rough draft. ive never been so happy in my life for being so close to finishing something. i hope its not as incomprehensible as i think it might be.
exams begin next week. im doing as well as i would have ever expected heading into them. just got to put the icing on the cake. likely my only b+ will be art studio 101. i still have an outside chance of coming down with an a- but that aint likely. i need to learn how to use a fucking brush. more importantly i should have remembered to take that fucking class pass/fail. oh well, live and learn and then get loves.
tomorrow, ill wrap this comics bitch up then work on my poetry paper and do some fucking laundry. my room is a sty.
my bones are crying out for frisbee.
i need a shave. my nonbeard itches like a mo.
i cant fucking wait for summer, for reading for fun again, for family time, for focus on writing. things im less stoked about: reassuming the responsibility of mowing the lawn because i dont want to get a job, doing chores around the house to prepare for our move out of san antonio that will likely follow this summer (not sure if ive told anyone about that yet, if not...SURPRISE!)
i need to stop eating so much. i dont think ive been hungry in about two days. original goldfish will be the death of me. i swear if i eight bags of these things in front of me and i was stoned, my stomach would surely explode with delcious fishes.
in other news im excited about the nba playoffs this year. im not sure who i think will win after the first round.
start the xmen and superman movies countdown btw.
