[Jack is on the roof again--he seems to divide his outdoors time between the roof and the beach--grinning a little uncertainly into his communicator, plagued by the nagging feeling that he's forgotten something.]
It seems like I can't get anything right lately. I didn't notice that Coraline was in trouble, I said something really stupid to Dr. Bhamba...I just keep making mistakes. I got tired of thinking about it, so...
[He shrugs awkwardly.]
I decided to go hang-gliding. [He turns the communicator to demonstrate that he does have a hang glider. Two, in fact.] Anyone want to come?
[He turns around to wrestle with the hang-glider and--ah. That's what he's forgotten. He is missing his wrench. In fact, he appears entirely unarmed.]
