Writing Vila as powerful and in control made me rethink him, which is always fun. The one thing he's got confidence in is that he's good with his hands. I'll bet he gives the world's best backrubs. And handjobs.

It is always nice to rethink characters like that. Writing my Tarrant fic has been a real exploration of the character's psyche and motivations, which has made me like him a lot more. (Although I still mostly want to kick him. Sigh.)
