my brother
My brother has been bothering me about things which are none of his concern. I want to be a RA next year, but the training period for that cuts into our family trip to Zambia. Since I have already been to Zambia a few years ago and think that being an RA is very beneficial for me and my parents because of the cost benefits, room benefits as well as forcing me to organize my schedule a bit better. My brother thinks that this is a stupid decision just like my decision on my major, partly because he is so arrogant and when he takes a stance on something he sticks with it and no one can tell him otherwise. He thinks that since both of our parents do not have a financial problem (my mom would beg to differ) that it would be stupid to cancel my part in this huge trip just to appease them economically.
There is no use arguing with him because he will never change his position on something so I just tell him "it’s my fuckin life not yours and this is what I want to do." Sure, he’ll bitch and moan some more, but eventually he just stops and moves on to something else that I’m doing wrong. I wish someone would give him a psychological evaluation because I am willing to bet that he has some issues from which his need to tell people what is good for them and what isn’t, stems.
