Today marks the end of my phone. I was over at Jamie's house for a pool party, beforehand I had thought to put the cell phone in the pocket of my swimsuit so I had it on me in case someone called, thinking that I would take it out before I got into the pool. I didn’t take into account the fact that I act without thinking sometimes. By the time I got over there, I had already forgotten in was in my pocket. Walking down the steps into the pool, as the water level came to my waist, I knew I had done something wrong and it was a matter of seconds before I realized what I had done. I then proceeded to jump out of the pool and tear my phone out of the wet pocket. Drying it out and praying to god it still worked. When I opened the phone it was perfectly fine for a few seconds, but suddenly, it started vibrating violently and a bunch of strange pictures flashed on the screen. I didn’t wait to see what else it did so I turned it off and took out the battery…leaving them to dry.
Right now, it still turns on and off, but there is no service. so i am going to bitch and try to get it fixed
the other night I had a dream….
I was driving with a friend, just as I had done before I went to sleep. It was raining and visibility was almost incomprehensible. Intently gazing through what looked like a plane of water, I could just barely make out 10 feet in front of me. My heart was beating as I tried to decipher the road signs. Looking at the clock, I could see that I was way over curfew. Suddenly, there was a honk to my right and I jolted up to see what it was, taking my eyes off the road in front of me for what seemed like a split second. Before I could figure out what it was, I felt my whole body being thrown forward a searing pain ripped through my chest as it collided with the steering wheel. Opening my eyes with what seemed like a searing headache. I couldn’t focus on anything, but the pain until I saw my car. The car was flipped on its side and the entire front was gone. Windows were all broken and something smelled of cheese.
Waking up the next morning I run outside in my boxers…to my car. To see it fully intact and without a scratch. I fell to my knees screaming, “YES! IT WAS A DREAM! YES!”
Noticing my neighbor getting his newspaper from his driveway, I stopped and got to my feet. I gave an embarrassed wave and he just smiled and shook his head.
