So last nite I wanted to get to bed early so that I wouldn't wake up exhausted. At about 7:00 or so Derek calls, he's dying from the heat and wants to go for a drive. Sure, ok as long as I'm back for 9:00. So I go change, slap on some makeup, my hair's a mess do I care? No.
Derek has a family reunion with my mom, Emma and Mikayla. As usual my mom rapes him, sorry about that hun. I had forgotten how long it had been since you'd been over. Anyway Mikayla wanted to see the car, so we headed down, showed it to her and took off in an attempt to find the beach. We drove around in Oak Bay and kinda got lost, found Beach Drive and eventually pulled into the beach after several outbursts from Derek at the slow drivers, pedestrians etc. We decided to have a romantic stroll along the beach, Derek found a badminton raquet and I climbed the rocks. Oh Derek, how long have we been dating now? Couple years by my calendar...PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID!!!! lol...
Anyway on the way back we ran into Jess M, Steph A and friend (turns out her name is Lana). Had some adventures with them, a football and a crazy guy with Starbucks. Steph's having a BBQ next weekend, yay for parties!!
We finally headed home around 10:00 and then I didn't get to bed until 11:00 cuz certain people wouldn't get out of my house *ahem* DEREK...you know I love you, but I'm scary when I'm tried, lol. How many times did I yell at you to get the hell out of my house? lol
Switching topics, I had my first day today!! Started at 8:30 with Vanessa the manager. She taught me the games, we played them, and then went over all the toys, gadgets etc in the entire store. Grace and Dan came in, they are so cool, Grace is such a sweetheart. I met Claire, who is super nice and then Jeremy came in after my shift, he's adorable. I'm so gonna love it, the staff is great, the work is fun and I want to buy the entire store!!
I'm working all week, switching between downtown and Mayfair...and yes I do work on Government street, lol...thought you might like that one Derek ;)
Life is rather grand, I must say.
