Grad Nite
So we started with ceremony practice at 8:30 at UVic, dear God Derek way to speed thru those parking lots "hey there's Andrew let's hit him!!" gun the engine and omg we're all gonna die!! Anyway the practice was excruciatingly painful, waiting in lines outside for 2 hrs, singing the song etc etc etc. After the practise I went to get my hair done, it turned out so amazing, I loved it and it stayed in all nite, probably because he used about a bottle of hairspray and like 100 bobby pins!!
After that it was back to UVic for the ceremony, as we all looked like a gospel choir in our stupid robes. It was so amazing walking across the stage tho, it was such a classy event. The speeches were painful but congrats to Lauren and Brandin for awesome V-speeches, and the R&B girls were amazing singing "Forever Young", I totally broke down.
After the ceremony we sped home so I could change, god I love my dress, everyone said I looked like Cinderella, lol. Mike arrived with a beautiful corsage, and he looked damn good in his fancy suit. We headed up to the Commons, it was surprisingly beautiful, the food was amazing, everyone looked gorgeous, I got some amazing pics. Of course nothing ever goes perfectly smooth and Mike had attitude about pretty much everything so I go sick of it and left him on the balcony to smoke while I had a great time on the dance floor.
At about 12:30 we cleared out and Mike and I had a huge fight in the parking lot, I was so angry at him and I ended up in tears. His mom came and by that time we had missed the bus to the afterparty so we got changed and she was such a sweetheart to drive us all the way out to Island View Beach. Once everyone had arrived I hooked up with Tasha, Jordan and Janelle and we formed "the team" because Mike was still being a jerk and being antisocial. The Team found out I was a "virgin drunk" so they hooked me up with a kiwi/mango vex from Jordan's bar in his backpack and, how sad, but after that I was on my way to being pretty damn tipsy, lol. Jordan was mixing up the long island iced teas in the dark and we took turns trying them to see how potent they were. After one too many "hits for the team" Tasha, Janelle and I were getting pretty trashed. We kept on making bathroom runs and I seriously had to focus to maintain my balance. I ran into Joel and Duncan and Joel sorta hung onto me and warned me of the guys who may want to take advantage of me, thank you so much Joel, you were such a sweetheart, I really appreciated it!!
I guess I pretty much went nuts, I was super hyper and hitting on everyone, but I still had my barrings and I knew what was going on and I was fully aware, just really off-balance and dizzy, lol.
The bus came back at 5am, I passed out on the bus and by the time I got home it was 6am and I completely crashed. It sucked that afternoon, but hey it was worth the hangover because I had the most amazing nite, I cannot wait for my pics to get developed!!
