a late holidaze posting
I got home on the 21st baked cookies and a cake. if I don't lose this recipe, again, I think I have the best one yet. I made a patch of chocolate chips, good, but with too many chips for my liking, I'll probably cut them in half the next time. a batch of 'chai' cookies, although really they were just spiced cookies since I didn't bother checking the proper spices for chai.. and 3 batches fo deep chocolate cookies to test different coco powders.
the cake was a Devil's food cake and was quite good, although a little on the crumbly side., next time I'll going to replace the water with milk.
x-mas was quiet, just me and my BF, we made simple food and watched Polar Express.
Between X-mas and new year we went to Pittsburgh to visit friends and we had a good time there, we got introduced to Terraria and it took over the rest of our holidaze.
For gift I got myself a new Ipod Touch, and I like the way the new OS is setup, makes managing my apps a little easier.
I also got a micro projector from Microvision : http://www.microvision.com/showwxplus/ I quite like it although the way it's designed means I'm going to have to make some adjustment to how I set it up in the truck so I can watch my movies.
my BF did give me a nice surprise, but that's staying between him and me.
