Sigh... i'm thinking that, out of necessity, i need to get a motorcycle. I'd really rather not, they're loud, dangerous, have no protection from the elements, easy to steal, not terribly comfortable i'd imagine, very little storage room, but my car is just too damn expensive to maintain (when it works). I dun even see myself as the type of person who would ride a motorcycle. Unfortunately, i seem to be running out of options. The public transportation here sucks. I mostly don't have the patience for it. I could easily imagine it taking me around 2-3 hours to get down to the Garland/Mesquite area using DART. And DART is not a 24 hour service. Taxi Cabs are expensive as hell and are not practical to use for going to work/school every day. Even though the work thing isn't really in the picture right now, i am still looking for a job that i can accept. All in all, i'm still looking into motorcycles, i haven't made a decision yet. My decision will probably be swayed on the availability of getting a motorcycle license, insurance, and if i can somehow get one without too much cost (maybe by trading in my car).
