Did you watch "Schindler's List" or any other movie about Jewish and Nazis falling in love with each other? Everyone is human. And love is such a human feeling. don't you think so? you can't tell yourself to love smb or stop loving them. Though, i must say, the main reason for "foreign marriages" is not love. but can we put a blame on anybody who is in search of a better life?
BTW in the veins of many of those who survived the Holocaust there is a drop of German blood.
What i am trying to say is, we shouldn't generalize persons in groups until they do it themselves. A person is somebody with their own opinions and somebody so much different from anybody else. A nation seems to me to be a candy jar with candys coloful and with different tastes. You may say this comparison sounds childish))
May i ask you a personal qiestion? For you come from the USA, i'm so much interested in your ethnic background. Sure, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.

Yes, I watched Schindler's List. It was a good movie, but I found it was too depressing or too tragic to watch it again. I don't blame or fault anyone for wanting a better life. In fact, I sort of admire them for making that step. That is a very difficult decision. I can only hope that if there was no love before the marriage that somehow true love will blossom in the future. But sure, I don't disagree with you.
