What a wonderful, romantic story. I'm glad you shared it. It may have not been Fate for your parents to have met, but it took an awful lot of pure luck, plus a lot of courage. When I read "how we met" stories, I am impressed by the luck/coincidence involved. So often, if the couple did not meet as a result of this one opportunity, they would never meet. It's scary.
