What is Boys and Men?
Boys and Men is an 'Ikemen Project.' As far as my limited Japanese skills can tell me auditions were held to form a new performance group (singing, dancing, skits and television/event appearances) for 'Ikemen Nagoya.' The members of Boys and Men perform for small audiences, and are gradually expanding their work in the form of sub-units/product endorsement and appearances on shows for Nico Nico Douga/Bacs.
The two current sub-units are 'Yankee5' and 'Makoto.' I'll be discussing them in more detail in a later section.

Who are the notable members?
Please note that for the sake of uniformity I've used the Tanipro official biographies photos, but some of them are *terrible* reflections of how cute the members actually are. This especially goes for Tamura, Takumi, Honda, and Wakana.
Guest Members:
Kyosuke Hamao - He's not always around, but Hamao (Aguli in Goseiger, Kikumaru Eiji in 1st season Tenimyu) was a member of the White Tights production.
Sub-unit Yankee5:
Yankee5 is a new sub-unit composed of five members of Boys and Men. They follow a 'yankee' (badboy) theme. Along with the other sub-unit Makoto they have just released their second single 変わらないStory (Unchanged Story). Yankee5's first single was called バリバリ☆ヤンキーロード (Giri Giri Yankee Road).
The members are;
Kobayashi Yutaka (KY-san) - Yutaka is best known for his role as Mizuki in 2nd Season Tenimyu. He's one of B&M's most vibrant and playful members. He's a former bakery worker, who loves to cook. His favorite dish is baked cheesecake.
Tamura Yukihisa - Tamura is the baby-face of Yankee5. He has his awkward moments, but he's definitely gained confidence/flirtiness, and even if he gets pushed around alot (even by the members of Makoto) he can be very funny and cute. He also makes a good cross-dresser. His hobby is soccer.
Mizuno Masaru - Masaru is Yankee5's 'leader' He might not be as loud as some of the other members, but he makes a good looking salaryman. His special move is a one-handed back flip, and his hobbies are listening to music, soccer, and 'human observation.'
Tanaka Syunsuke - Tanaka is sometimes Yankee5's megane member, eventhough he doesn't actually seem to need glasses. He's a bit quiet/eccentric at times, and bears an odd resemblance to D2's Sho Jinnai in a lot of his selcas. According to the content of his Ameblo he likes taking lots of photos with Tamura and Yutaka. His special trick is to chug cola and then burp loudly, and he likes to watch movies and visit the beach.
Tsujimoto Tatsunori - Tsuji is probably on par with Yutaka in terms of confidence. He's got a weird sense of timing, and doesn't seem to be able to read the atmosphere sometimes. He has a habit of speaking like a stereotypical yankee from a drama. He is good at exercising, and he likes soccer and baseball.
Sub-unit: Makoto:
Makoto is the 'rival' sub-unit to Yankee5. Their image is much more of a squeaky-clean bubblegum pop kind of thing. Complete with dodgy sparkle-covered outfits, a talkative leader, and ridiculous fluffy bromancing.
Honda Takafumi - Honda is the uncontested leader of Makoto (despite being the smallest). He's super talkative, and a bit shameless. His speciality and hobby is traditional Japanese archery.
Yuhi - Yuhi is a more 'stand back and listen' type of guy. He's a little mysterious at times, but always makes the effort to smile and keep up with the louder Makoto members. His special skill is swimming, and he likes watching movies.
Hiramatsu Kento - Kento has a dorky double-act going on with Taiki some of the time. He's very energetic and always larking around behind Honda's back. His special skills are dancing, athletics, swimming, and whistling. He loves listening to music and karaoke.
Wakana Taiki - The other half of Makoto's comedic duo. He has a tendancy to shout things out, but forgets to introduce himself at events. His skill and hobby is traditional Yosakoi dancing.
Tsuchida Takumi - Takumi is probably the quietest member of Makoto aside from Yuhi. He bears a slight resemblance to Watanabe Shu, and his cuter side comes out when he's in smaller groups for B&M promotions. He's another fan of 'human observation', but he also likes soccer and listening to music.
