I got to the point where I was filking 'This Ain't a Scene, it's an Arms Race' and nearly giggled myself off my bed. I mean, really. I'm totally singing that every time I do the laundry from now on.

::hugs her braintwin:: Thank you for the validation! I'm totally co-dependent on you.

I didn't catch on until the last line, and then I had to go back and sing it to myself to be sure I scanned it right. So awesome. And was that Brendon in a monocle?

I don't even know the source material, but this is adorable anyway. (I went straight from The Five Chinese Brothers to The Hardy Boys to Stephen King, near as I can recall.)

Oh my! That is awesome *g* The clothes and the image of Patrick dressed as Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle! That last line from Pete awesome Bogart reference.
If you're in the special hell then I think I'm probably doom ever since I turned Pippi Longstocking into pre-slash.

I'm thinking this needs to be a new meme, stat. kin_you_bi January 27 2010, 09:21:20 UTC
Thanks! I spent about ten minutes after I read your fic contemplating who the rest of bandom would be in a Beatrix verse, and the second I imagined Patrick as Tiggy I just had to start writing. :-)
Pippi Longstocking fic? Where? When? Please link! ::is ridiculously excited::

Welcome aboard the messing about with childhood media train. *g* I keep thinking about The Tale of Mr. Tod and how of course Gabe would be irritated by the invasion of his basement. I would totally read more of bandom does Potter. Enid Blyton had all sorts of awesome stories involving 5 lead characters too ... I should stop now, shouldn't I?

It's all on my master list along with the Wishbone stuff. Or direct link: A Curious New Boy and Walk Around. I should warn you it's CW/WB actor rpf.

I can't stop thinking about it either! Mainly because I cast Peter Rabbit with Ryan, which meant Spencer could be his cousin Benjamin, which meant the Cab could be Benjamin's babies the Flopsy Bunnies, which meant whoever-gets-cast-as-Tommy-Brock-the-badger could kidnap them and hide them in Gabe's basement and it's all pretty much downhill from there.

I have no issues with rpf, so I'll go and peek a look at them next time I have a minute or two (probably on the bus later today. Have to go get ready for work now, bah.)

This is the most delightful thing ever!

I think I'm a little bit in love with Mr. P. Tiggy-winkle. I could read many more thousands of words about him and his laundry.

Thanks!

...I'm a little in love with him, too. I think it was the teeny tiny trucker hat that did it. If I had an ounce of artistic talent, I'd be sketching him and pinning the resulting picture on my wall forever.

(I need to stop thinking about all this. I went and cast Ryan as Peter Rabbit quite randomly for this, then realised that meant I could make Spencer Benjamin, and the Cab his children, the Flopsy Bunnies, and now my brain won't shut up. Damn you bandom, for being so easily converted to Beatrix Potter characters!)

Bandom casting stuff is always fun.

And Ryan would make an amazing Peter Rabbit /shameless encouragement.
