Since I'm overweight and cursed/blessed with ADHD, I decided to stop being a couch potatoe.
Firstly, I'm tired of being overweight. Secondly, the drugs for ADHD MIGHT raise the blood pressure slightly. Since my BP is a little bit over normal (not much, though), I thought starting sports would be a good thing. So I started walking and biking on a regular basis 4 weeks ago.
I digged up a training schedule for beginners with time tables so I won't do something wrong. Soon my BP went down and I could even forget the pills. I even lost 6 pounds of weight, yay! My fitness got better and no depressions for three weeks now. BUT.
After two weeks of moderate training my BP got even higher than it was before. I do feel great, though. And asking the interwebs, it seems to be normal to have a higher BP in the first weeks. But I have to admit that I really don't like it, not at all. I'm doing this to lower the BP, not vice versa.
I do feel good and I'm having more energy than ever. But this higher BP scares me :(
health,
