Life update
Well, yeah, I'm still alive.
I fought my bad cold successfully and I'm back to work since monday. I was absent for five weeks now, wow! Two of them moving vacation, one week company holidays and two seriously ill.
If you think this sounds like a major fun time, it was SO not like this. The moving was just horrid, but it's done. The new apartment isn't renovated yet except the kitchen and Skadi's room due to lack of money, since I've lost almost all of my furniture due to the heavy mold in the old app. It all needs to wait until I have money again, can't help it. Nevertheless I'm thinking about a one-week vacation trip in summer to the Black Forest, most likely camping. It's cheap and I really need some vacation. Nothing to do just visiting nice sites and being lazy. Sounds soooo good to me. Skadi loves the idea, too. But if it happens that her old computer dies, the money needs to go into a new machine, unless she'll abandon the new computer, what I doubt.
Work is doing fine, my boss is glad to have me back (good feeling!) and the bunch of new Laptops on my desk are all idly waiting to be installed, but the users are getting nervous. You know, new toys! XD
Speaking of computer, the motherboard of my main machine at home is broken. Damn, it's just eight months old. the hard disks are fine, so nothing happened to the data. Blessing in disguise, but I hate to rip the machine apart and to build in a new motherboard. Grrr.
The neighbour above is pretty tame at the moment since I proved him to be a liar. Maybe you're a Doctor Phys., but you're not smart at all, kid. Come to my age first.
