Would you be able to sleep with some sort of white noise going, like a fan? That usually helps me, when my neighbors are being incredibly noisy. It won't cut out all of the noise, but it might help somewhat.

I doubt I would since the stomping is so different. Music can be covered, or loud talking, but the stomping I think not.

Yesterday I went upstairs and told the guy a thing or two and the rest of the day it was quiet. He asked me what he should do with his kids to prevent them running, can you imagine that? I told him to keep them busy, to play with them and show teach them things. What I did with my girls. what many other parents do with theirs.

See, me being who I am, with my sardonic sense of humor and ready willingness to express my disgust at ill-mannered brats? If I had been asked that question, I'd tell him something like, "Well, I hear they are doing wonderful things with industrial-strength duct tape and baling twine, these days!"

Seriously, though, why can't they run around outside? Do they have a rare genetic condition that renders fresh air toxic to them? Has it not occurred to these parents that if they actually let these kids run around outside, they likely wouldn't hav the problems with them being hyperactive in the house?

Preaching to the choir, I know. :P Cripes. Some people should not ever have been allowed to have kids. -_- Hopefully, reading him the riot act will help things somewhat!
