Well they are aquatic, and like the fish they are they breathe only in water and drown in air.

I believe they range from a foot to over seven feet in length. Possibly larger.

They have rows of triangular, very sharp teeth that can grow back if ripped out. They are generally fish-shaped, though more barrel-like than flat. A single vertical fin is located somewhere in their mid back and is usually a defining characteristic.
