This showed up just at the right time for me: BookSurge is an Amazon company which deals in publishing, distributing, and selling Indie authors...through Amazon. :D The author keeps the rights and makes money from their own books. So far, it looks better than Lulu, plus it has Amazon behind it. I've sunk plenty o' cash into various Amazon purchases and have had nothing but good experiences. Since I'm assembling a bunch of short horror stories together into a book, this sounds PERFECT to me.
I'll need to read more when I'm not feeling so craptastic (stupid allergies are really knocking me out this time), but YAY!
