went OK. All I had to do was sing a bit of the Mi chiamano, then the end of Act I, and a bit of the end of Act III. I was totally on book, but the dir had a Rodofo who wasn't (and told him to react to me) so that was awkward sometimes. I got contacted today to do a callback for a local production of Boheme, it would be my first Mimi - except the callback is TOMORROW. I need to learn the duets by TOMORROW.  Um, nothing like short notice.

I am thinking I can put some of this insomnia to good use and make a date with my iPod and score at 3 AM if things work out as such tonight.

I brought tears to my coach's eyes.

My coach here in NYC hadn't heard me since December. I brought in Csardas to work with her, after working it in my lesson earlier in the week, and I sang the first 2 lines and she literally started tearing up.
