Aisling - weird dream

Feb 26, 2013 07:39

As usual, the early part of the dream is lost in confusion. There was something about shape-shifters - werewolves, I suppose though they/ we seemed less cursed than the usual sort - in a corporate setting. For some reason, I had to sneak into offices equipped with electronic locks. Apparently, smearing peanut butter on the locking mechanism ... on the edge of the door ... is enough to disable them. There was a lot of hiding and running from security guards while rifling through the offices.

[long-winded boring dream stuff]I ended up in the cafeteria with the owner of the company - who was one of the shifters. Nice man named Teegan (he was played by my husband). He was doing his best to court me; feeding me, showing me around, buying me things. The place seemed to be a tourist/shopping destination with a humanitarian twist to it. It was possible to buy certain packages that would be given to charitable cases. When Teegan insisted on spending money on me, I asked that we invest in one of these packages.

The packages were sent off by company plane. Teegan and I went to the airpad and were just in time to see the hostess put up the "closed" sign, even though her shift wasn't over by any means and her relief had not yet shown up. She wanted to get onto the plane that was loading on the runway. She told us - rather snippily - that we'd have to come back in a while and she started descending the staircase toward the tarmac. Which was when Teegan very quietly told her not to come back for her next shift - she was fired. At that point, she seemed to realise who he was and rushed back to help us - and I do mean rushed.

There was a locked crate in the landing, marked with the red cross of medical supplies. She asked if one of us would take it to the office, so it could go on the next flight. I ran to the office, the man there was surprised that the crate wasn't on the plane as it was needed immediately, and I informed him that the hostess was planning to leave it because she didn't want to take the time to get the crate loaded on the plane. As we hurried back to the landing, I was very much hoping that Teegan would carry through on his threat .. his statement ... to fire her. I felt very strongly that her actions indicated a pattern of behaviour - and that it did not reflect well on his company.

One last thing, the name of the company. I thought at first that it was McTeague, but later realized that it was TcTeague - where the "Tc" was pronounced "tic". My sleeping mind informed me that this was in fact the shifter equivalent to "Mc".

dream, werewolf, aisling
